When asked ‘What are you looking for in a pupil?’ my answer is: a child who wants to learn. But we are not seeking academic exclusivity here at Cheadle Hulme School. We seek pupils who are bright, yes, but equally important is that they are committed to serving others, want to improve themselves and are willing to explore the range of opportunities and challenges that our school will offer to them as they mature.

Applying to a school can be a demanding, perhaps even daunting process for a family; our aim at Cheadle Hulme School is to make sure that the process is fair, thorough and enables every hopeful candidate the chance to demonstrate their skills, strengths and interests.

Our Admissions Office, led by Mrs Viv Gray as Registrar, is committed to ensuring that every family is made to feel welcome, and that no one feels overwhelmed or unclear.
