Why We Need Your Help

As one of the leading co-educational independent schools in the country we have a clear vision of how we want to broaden access, develop our facilities and further enhance the educational opportunities on offer at Cheadle Hulme School. However, such aspirations are expensive and cannot be financed from fee income alone. Without the luxury of surplus funds or an endowment, this means that we must seek additional sources of financial support.

Our fundraising strategy has three clear objectives:

SHORT TERM - to fund smaller projects, which are achievable within the academic year, through donations to the School’s annual giving program.

MEDIUM TERM - to build the 150th Anniversary Bursary Fund, launched in October 2005, into a £10 million fund. The School’s ambition is to operate an admissions system which is based on academic potential and not on ability to pay and in so doing return to its charitable foundations and to a social mix that is fully representative of our local community.

LONG TERM - to continue to create further excellence in our facilities building on the significant investment made in the past ten years.

All donations, however large or small, make an enormous difference. Today's pupils are benefiting from the encouragement and past contributions of our many supporters; our future success relies on the generosity of all those connected today to the Cheadle Hulme School community. We owe a huge debt of gratitude to our many existing donors and we invite you to join them in contributing to the shaping of future generations.
