CHS Remembers
Students, staff and Old Waconians stood side-by-side for a Remembrance service, as wreaths were laid at the School sundial, which was erected in honour of the 62 Old Waconians who lost their lives in the Great War.
Musicians from the Senior School played The Last Post, which sounded to signal two minutes of remembrance for the whole School.
One Old Waconian in attendance was 92 year-old Jim Gardner, who left the School in 1938 and served in the RAF Bomber Command from 1941-1945.  Mr Gardner laid a poppy wreath at the service, along with the Head, Head Boy and Head Girl.
