A Cracking Collection
Almost 1,000 Easter Eggs were donated by CHS students, in a collection for the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital charity during Philanthropy Week.
The collection was part of an inter-house competition, with chocolate eggs piled-up for each of the School’s four houses and winning house points for the most donations.
Every egg will be donated to the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital charity, giving young people in hospital a reason to be cheerful at Easter and supporting the valuable work of the charity.
Students’ donations were made in return for wearing their own clothes on what was the final day of Philanthropy Week 2013. The winning house was Marsh, with a total of 289 tasty treats.
