Future Chef Finalist
Year 10 chef, Eve was awarded for her innovation as she cooked up a sweet treat in the North West Final of the FutureChef 2013 competition.
Eve was one of just nine young cooks to make it to the regional Final, out of over 530 participants from 60 schools across the area.
Winning the prize for the most innovative dish, for a Deconstructed Baklava, Eve was rewarded with a day at Manchester’s iconic Hilton hotel with Head Chef David Gale, during which she will prepare and cook lunch for her family.
Head of Food and Nutrition at CHS, Mrs Rachel Dalton-Woods said: “Eve was extremely talented in the competition and I am very proud of her achievements.”
