The CHS U15 Girls’ Hockey team have become champions of Greater Manchester, winning the GM Schools Tournament with style.
Hosted by Altrincham Grammar, the competition saw the girls take on three other schools from the area and finish the day on an undefeated high.
CHS started slowly against Woodhey High School, going a goal behind but securing their win in the second half by a lead of two.  From then on, Cheadle Hulme dominated the tournament, defending their goal well to make Woodhey’s the only goal they conceded throughout the day.
A convincing 2-0 win against Alrincham brought the tournament to a close and won the girls another trophy for the CHS Sports Department.
Coach, Mrs Helen Philips said: “The girls played brilliantly throughout the tournament and were a credit to the School!”
