A Historic Trip for Year 5
Junior School pupils took a 200 mile trip back in time when they visited the historic landmarks, palaces and places of London.
Over 50 Year 5 pupils took part in the trip, calling on notable attractions such as the Tower of London, Hampton Court Palace and The Globe Theatre, learning about the importance of the buildings in times gone by.
As well as learning about its history, the group participated in a drama workshop at The Globe and saw an abridged production of Romeo and Juliet.
Pupils also found time for fun, when they sat in the audience for the hit West End show, Matilda.
The two-day trip was thoroughly enjoyed by all and pupils were praised for their impeccable behaviour throughout.
