House Music Competition
Tabla-playing twins, triumphant timpani and a whole host of tuneful talent was on display at the CHS House Music Competition.
Students from Year 7 to the Upper Sixth took part in the annual competition, which brings together the four Houses of CHS, Allen, Clarke, Marsh and Whitehead in an evening of solo and group performances.
All of the students performing had their sights firmly set on the Competition Winners’ Shield, as they took to the stage for a diverse programme of music and song.
The House Music Competition gives those students who don’t normally get up on stage the chance to participate and help add to their Houses’ accolades.
The judges had a tough time deciding the winning House this year but, after a close finish, Allen topped the podium for the third year running.
