Jewish Society Gets Streetwise
The Jewish Society (J-Soc) learnt how to get street smart when they gave their full concentration to an engaging guest speaker from Streetwise . The speaker was able to provide invaluable common sense tips to the students to help them remain safe.

Beforehand, the speaker explained that Streetwise aimed to work with students and youth movements to give guidance and raise awareness of personal safety; especially in areas concerning mobile phones, transport and other dangers. He highlighted that one of Streetwise’s key points is to help the youth of today try to avoid confrontations and potential dangers.

The President of J-Soc, Lower-Sixth student Louis Rawlings, describes the Society as being: “a multi-cultural society where various cultures come together to discuss topics including anti-Semitism, cultural Judaism and Jewish integration.”
There were many interesting topics raised by Streetwise, which ensured a good discussion with lots of fantastic questions from the students.
