Cheadle Hulme School’s Young Musician of the Year Upper Sixth student Annaliesa has been celebrating even more success after passing her Associate Diploma in Speech & Drama with the London College of Music.
Annaliesa, who now has the right to add ALCM after her name, said: “When I found out that I had passed my Associate Diploma I was so pleased, and I felt so proud that all my hard work could be rewarded. My mum, who is also my drama teacher, was also very thrilled”.
She is currently teaching speech and drama outside of School and has received an offer to study Theatre and Performance at Warwick University in September, with the aim of starting a career in theatre arts or teaching.
Both the School, and her family, are very proud of Annaliesa’s achievements, as well as those of other students who have also attained some fantastic marks. Upper Sixth students Harry Dubois, Hannah Milligan and Anisa Gallagher all received excellent marks in LCM or LAMDA exams, which they have taken outside of School. Harry gained an impressive Distinction in his Grade 6, whilst Hannah and Anisa received a fantastic distinction for their Grade 7.
