Nineteen Sixth Form students have revisited times past, recreating the original class photograph from their first few days in Reception.
The students, who are about to embark on their final A Level exams, were very excited to return to their first ever classroom and meet the Teaching Assistants who worked with them when they were just 4 years old.
Upper Sixth student, Rebecca Griffiths said: “It’s lovely that so many of us are still here, to be able to recreate the old photo. It was strange to be back there, though - everything seems so small now! Some of us can even remember having the original photo taken!
“There are only a few from those days who aren’t at CHS anymore; we contacted them and they were gutted they couldn’t be on the reunion photo too!”
Teaching Assistant, Mrs Janice Banks, who can also be seen in the original snap said: “It’s amazing – even though they’re all a lot bigger now and some are hard to recognise, their personalities haven’t changed a bit. I can still remember how scared they all were, when they first started!”
All the students pictured are now working hard to gain the grades they need for their next step, in September, including star golfer, Bronte Law, who has gained a scholarship to study at the University of California, Los Angeles
and Beth Price, who has an offer to study History at the University of Cambridge
