A Question of Philosophy

Junior School pupils learned what it is like to study philosophy in the Sixth Form when their Philosophy Club welcomed some very special guests from Senior School.
Joined by Sixth Form philosophy students Abbi and Izzy, the pupils asked them about their experience of learning philosophy in School as well as wider questions such as what is colour? And why is the world round?
The pupils split into two groups to consider the topics and discussed their thoughts.
Junior School Philosophy Club teacher, Mrs Joanne Dutton said: “It’s great that the Sixth Formers could join us because what they have been studying is along similar lines to the questions we’ve been asking in class.”
Philosophy Club takes place every week after school and is just one of the many activities offered to pupils in the Junior School.
