A team of Junior School orienteers picked up bronze medals at the Cheshire and Merseyside Schools League Orienteering relays competition.
The podium placement for the Year 6 pupils came with huge delight in what was their first ever competitive experience in the sport.
The competition, which took place at Marbury Country Park, also saw Year 6 pupil, Hannah Marchant achieve the second fastest course time of all the competitors on the day.
Mr Simon Fletcher, who runs the co-curricular Orienteering activities across the Junior and Senior School said: “This was a massive achievement for the pupils, who all performed excellently against a number of regular competitors in the sport. Well done to all of them!”
