Quiz Club pupils shine in National competition
10 Waconians have demonstrated their impressive knowledge across a range of subjects in the recent BM School’s Academic Quiz (BMSAQ)!
The BMSAQ is a challenging quiz that sees pupils from across the UK and Ireland test their knowledge in categories including Geography, Sport, History and Culture.
Demonstrating their knowledge, Zac, Caloan, Fliss, Thomas, and Jacob were each awarded a participation certificate for their efforts, Amaya secured Bronze, Roddy and Will B both earned Silver, and Ali’s strong performance resulted in a Gold award.
A special mention to Will P, who achieved an outstanding result, placing top in the county and an incredible 7th in the UK.
Mrs Bryna Barr, who runs CHS’s Quiz Club said: “I am incredibly proud of everyone who took part in the BMSAQ. Their willingness to challenge themselves on a national stage is truly commendable. Will P’s achievement is particularly noteworthy, and it’s fantastic to see so many Waconians receiving awards. Well done everyone!”
