Modern Foreign Language Assistant (Spanish)

Cheadle Hulme School seeks to appoint an outstanding Modern Foreign Language Assistant (Spanish) to support the Spanish Department.

The Modern Foreign Language Assistant will predominantly work with A Level and Year 11 students to help improve students’ confidence in speaking and understanding the language. They may also support the Modern Languages Teaching staff in the form of team teaching, helping to prepare teaching materials and assisting with co-curricular activities.

Applicants must have the right to work in the UK and must have native-level language skills with a deep understanding of the culture of the target country.

This role is a fixed term contract from 1 October 2021 – 31 May 2022. The hours of work are 12-18 per week, term time only. The gross monthly salary for this post is £914.05 (12 hours per week, based on British Council Rates). Additional hours will be paid at £13.77.

Evening & Weekend Caretaker

Required April 2021. Applications close at 8am on Monday 12 April 2021. 

Cheadle Hulme School seeks to appoint a Duty Caretaker to support the evening lettings, weekend sports and practical site security.  As part of a team rota, there are 44 hours available over a two week period (the shifts include 3pm-10pm on weekdays and between 7am-7pm on weekends); flexibility regarding working hours is required.

An enhanced hourly rate of £10.88 is offered for this role.
