The dates for the Taster Days for Summer 2019 are as follows:

Thursday 13 June

Wednesday 19 June (limited availability)

Tuesday 25 June

Year 5 Taster Day Bookings 2019

Children should arrive at 9.30am, with the first activity starting at 9.50am. We provide free refreshments and lunch, with a choice of options to suit a variety of tastes and dietary requirements. Children should wear casual clothes with trainers so they are comfortable and able to take part in a sports session. We provide all the equipment the children need for their lessons. Parents are invited from 2.30pm for refreshments and a chat before the children are ready to be taken home from 2.50 pm.

Places on the Taster Days are limited and we will fill places on a first come, first served basis.

Parking at Open Events

On the day of the Saturday Open Events, traffic will be far heavier than an ordinary School day.  Limited car parking is available at the School.  There is a car park situated on Claremont Road and access to other School car parking areas is via the Main Entrance, School Lane (SK8 6EF), off Hulme Hall Road or via the Claremont Road (SK8 6EG) entrance adjacent to the railway bridge.  If the School is unable to absorb all the cars on site, then parking is available on nearby roads, such as Highfield Road, Heathbank Road, Southdown Crescent, Upton Avenue, Hulme Hall Avenue or Hill Top Road.  Please be mindful and respectful of our neighbours if using adjacent roads.

Ground staff and Sixth Form pupils will be on hand to assist with directing traffic and helping visitors. You are best advised to assume that there will not be space on the site to park and that you will have to park in one of the neighbouring roads.
