Our Open Events are the ideal way to see what Cheadle Hulme School is all about, for all entry points. These take place throughout the year, and give you a chance to see our beautiful campus with the only guides who matter: our pupils.
Our first Open Day is on Saturday 28 September and is just for families wanting to explore our Senior School. Our Second Open Day is Whole School - Pre-School, Junior School and Senior School and takes place on Saturday 9 November.
Our Saturday morning Open Days take place from 10.00am - 12.30pm and provide for you an opportunity to explore our extensive and beautiful site with a student ambassador, to visit the different Departments and take part in a variety of activities and to listen to a short address by Neil Smith, our Head.
An Open Morning visit usually lasts for about an hour; a tour lasts approximately 45minutes and the Head will speak at 10.45am and 11.30am for about 15 minutes. It works well if you arrive in time to take a Tour before the Head's Talk at about 10am or 10.45am, or if you come for the Head's Talk at 10.30am or 11.15am and stay for a Tour afterwards.
Some families just pop in, others stay much longer and enjoy coffee and cake and chatting to members of staff, students and parent ambassadors.

Parking at Open Events
On the day of the Saturday Open Events, traffic will be far heavier than an ordinary School day. Limited car parking is available at the School. There is a car park situated on Claremont Road and access to other School car parking areas is via the Main Entrance, School Lane (SK8 6EF), off Hulme Hall Road or via the Claremont Road (SK8 6EG) entrance adjacent to the railway bridge. If the School is unable to absorb all the cars on site, then parking is available on nearby roads, such as Highfield Road, Heathbank Road, Southdown Crescent, Upton Avenue, Hulme Hall Avenue or Hill Top Road. Please be mindful and respectful of our neighbours if using adjacent roads.
Ground staff and Sixth Form pupils will be on hand to assist with directing traffic and helping visitors. You are best advised to assume that there will not be space on the site to park and that you will have to park in one of the neighbouring roads.
