Junior School Pastoral Care

At CHS, every child is seen, supported and championed. Our Junior School staffing structure is designed to ensure that pupils are known as individuals and nurtured in every aspect of their academic, emotional and social development. 

Each class is led by an experienced Form Teacher, with additional support from Teaching Assistants, Lunchtime Assistants, and a wider pastoral team. We also have a dedicated Head of Wellbeing, a Head of Learning Support, a Safeguarding Officer, and access to a trained First Aider and School Counsellor.

This joined-up approach means children are supported by familiar, trusted adults at every stage of the school day.
