Welcome to our Infant & Junior School

Our Infant Department lays firm foundations for a successful education in a safe, nurturing environment. The standards we reach in literacy and numeracy are “outstanding” (ISI Inspection, 2011). The classes are based in bright, airy classrooms with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the secure infant play area, with covered outdoor learning space.

By the time your child is ready for the Juniors, they are well prepared academically, socially and emotionally.  Our Junior School buzzes with learning fun and friendship. With many clubs and co-curricular activities there truly is something for everyone.

Welcome to our Senior School

At Cheadle Hulme School we pride ourselves on providing a challenging academic curriculum, with routes allowing choice, in due course, in relation to the aptitudes and preferences of each individual boy and girl. 

In the Senior School this involves an introduction in the Lower and Upper School to as many subjects as possible, leading to guided choices towards balanced provision for each pupil, keeping as many options open for as long as feasible. We aim to explore the talents of each pupil, and then these talents can be pursued in appropriate subject combinations, encouraging students to extend their intellectual capacities as far as possible.

If you choose to join the Sixth Form at Cheadle Hulme School, you will find a friendly and stimulating environment in which to continue your studies.

One of the main reasons you may wish to do so is to realise your academic ambitions. In an increasingly competitive world, good A-level results are very important and at Cheadle Hulme School you will find a combination of excellent teaching, good counselling and sound advice to ensure that you are able to develop your full academic potential.
