There is plenty to celebrate today as Year 11 students collect their GCSE results. Behind every set of grades is a different story from subjects discovered, challenges overcome, friendships formed and opportunities embraced and for many, a growing sense of what they might want their future to look like. Today is a chance to celebrate all of that.

71% of all grades were awarded at 9-7 with 48% 9-8 . 26 students achieved exclusively grades 9 and 8.

A Level Results

A springboard to new adventures and opportunities

Students from the Class of 2026 achieved exceptional A Level and BTEC results, reflecting their talent, hard work and the wide range of opportunities they have embraced during their time at CHS.

Nearly 50% of grades were awarded at A* – A, with 80% at A* – B.

Students also achieved outstanding grades in additional qualifications on top of their A-levels, including EPQ, Core Maths and the Arts Award.

79% of students were successful in taking up their first choice destination option. This year’s wide-ranging destinations include leading universities such as Imperial College, Oxford, Madrid, Leeds, Durham, Warwick and Manchester, alongside highly competitive degree apprenticeships and studying abroad.
