The CHS Journey starts in Pre-School
Starting your child’s education at CHS in the Pre School is about getting ready for the educational journey ahead. With many school years before them it’s important to set each child up for a positive experience. As a pupil in our Pre-School class, your child will enjoy a variety of activities to help prepare them for the daily routine of life at school. That way, by the time they are ready for Reception aged 4, they can’t wait to get started.
Learning is only part of having a happy school life. With a focus on education through play and enjoying the outdoors, we want every pupil to develop their passions and share in the interests of others in order to enjoy a full social life. As a vital part of the Infant and Junior School, the Pre-School is a place where your child will be supported from the very beginning whilst being challenged to fulfil their potential in both personal growth and academic attainment.
The Pre-School class is for pupils aged 3 – 4 who attend each day during term time from 8.30am to 3.30pm and is located in a freestanding modular building located within the play area of the Infant School playground. Wraparound care is available before and after School in line with that offered to existing Infant and Junior School pupils.
