BEYOND CHS

CHS leavers progress to universities in the UK and overseas, competitive degree apprenticeships and employment.

Recent students have chosen subjects ranging from medicine, law and biomedical sciences to costume design, business and fine art. Others have secured degree apprenticeships with organisations including Land Rover, Rolls-Royce and PwC.

Old Waconians work around the world in medicine, technology, finance, law, engineering, sport, business, the creative industries and many other fields.

During Sixth Form, this global community becomes part of every student’s Future Ready experience. Old Waconians and parents return to CHS to share their experiences, mentor students, provide insight into different industries and support opportunities for work experience and professional connections.

Through Let’s CHat Careers and the CHS Community network, students begin building their own networks before leaving school. On graduation, they become Old Waconians and join a community that remains with them for life.

Each event brings together professionals from the Old Waconian and parent community to speak openly about their careers—how they got there, what their work is really like and what they have learned along the way.
