Alongside the headline GCSE results, it’s the individual journeys that make results day so special.

Imogen, who balanced her leadership responsibilities as an Ambassador and hosting student–staff quizzes, secured 10 GCSEs, including Greek, taken as an additional twilight subject.
Ed, Sophie and Charlotte were among the high achievers today and are all members of CHS’s award winning F1 in Schools team, CHS Sonic.
Rhea, Ning, Charlotte, Angelica and Hafsa, are excited to be joining Sixth Form and looking forward to meeting new people, trips and the greater independence Sixth Form brings.


Rohit was one of an impressive five students who achieved grade 9s in all ten subjects. He will be continuing to our Sixth Form to study Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry. A Waconian since Reception, he is actively involved in MUN, chess club and is completing his Duke of Edinburgh award.
Oliver, who also secured straight 9s across the board chose the Spanish Exchange as one of his Senior School highlights. He is now looking forward to joining Sixth Form where he will study Maths, Further Maths, Physics, Spanish A Levels and an EPQ.


Talented musician, Charlotte achieved grades 9 – 7 in all her subjects, one of 39 Waconians to do so within the year group. She is looking forward to studying Classics A Level.
Henry is delighted that his grades have secured him a place as an Aircraft Engineer Technician apprentice with the RAF, a career path he has been determined to pursue.
This year group has thrived in so many different ways whether through academic achievement, creative passions or the co-curricular experiences that shape who they become. Today’s results are just the beginning of the exciting journeys that lie ahead.
