A Level results are, rightly, a moment to stop and celebrate hard-earned success. But looking beyond the grades show incredible stories of determination, curiosity and Waconian Values shining through. We are proud of all academic achievements and the experiences the students have had along the way which help shape who they become.

Sol, one of our Head Pupils juggled his academic studies with many hours devoted to musical theatre productions, music concerts and his leadership responsibilities as one of three Head Pupils who orchestrated a Leavers’ Fundraising Campaign for bursaries. He also helped to lead the school’s Eco Committee. He’ll be taking up a place at University of Birmingham to study Chemistry but leaves with the knowledge he’s left behind a legacy of contribution and kindness – and the memory of his stand out performance of Teenage Dirtbag at the Class of 2025 Graduation.
Francesca, who has been part of the CHS community since Year 7, is off to study French and Politics at the University of Warwick. A Green Blazer performer, hockey tour regular and dedicated linguist and historian, she describes CHS as a place of support, where her passions were nurtured and her confidence grew.


Sam is heading to the University of Cambridge to study Natural Sciences are securing 4A*s. Sam’s CHS story is about leadership and a love of learning and problem solving. During his time in the Senior School he was Secretary General of Model United Nations, attending no fewer than 70 events and won subject prizes in Chemistry and Mathematics. What will he miss most about CHS? His Further Maths class and the friendships made in those shared moments of problem-solving.
Emily achieved D*D*D* in BTEC Sport which she supported with a wide range of work experience opportunities including professional sports teams. She is heading to the University of Bath to follow her passion with a degree in Sport Management and Coaching.


Rahul was busy at CHS! A member of the regional winning F1 in School team, Deputy Secretary General in MUN and finalist at the National Chess Finals – he also secured 4 A*s and will be taking up a place to study Mechanical Engineering at UCL.
Dan joined CHS in the Sixth Form and combined academic studies with music and sporting commitments outside of school. His outstanding grades are taking him to University of Warwick to study Politics, Philosophy and Law.
Maya will join Northumbria university to study Fashion Communication. She will join Macey at the same university who will begin a degree in Interior Design
Daisy balanced A Levels with captaining the England U17 netball squad and a starring role in Sixth Form Drama production. Her results are taking her to the University of Nottingham to study Biology.
Kate combined her academic studies and leadership responsibilities as Head Pupil with a part-time job as a local children’s swimming instructor. She is heading to University of Edinburgh to study Social Anthropology.
To the Class of 2025: thank you for everything you’ve given to the CHS community. We’re incredibly proud of your results, but even prouder of the people you’ve become.
