Rugby 1st XV’s Action Packed Novemeber

Throughout November the CHS Rugby Squad took on the challenge of completing 100 press ups everyday to support men’s mental health and the Movember Charity. The charity aims to tackle issues such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention.

Everyday a different member of the Rugby 1st XV completed their 100 press ups, documenting their journey on their team’s Instagram and Just Giving pages. They have currently raised £1,909, far exceeding their £300 target.

While working hard on their altruistic endeavours, the Rugby Squad have also been training hard and made it to the final of the U18 Cheshire Cup. They played Wirral Grammar School in the final at Wilmslow RFC and fought hard right until the end, narrowly losing 10-8. The entire squad have worked incredibly hard this term, both to raise money to support men’s health and in their sporting careers.
