First Time Medals At The Orienteering Championships

It was an early start for the CHS Orienteering Team, setting off at 6am, to travel down to Stowe Park near Silverstone for the British Schools Orienteering Championship. The teams worked hard together and applied themselves to ensure they came home with medals.

The Year 13 boys team, Rowan, Hugo and Elliot used their navigation skills and strong team bond to secure a silver medal in their team competition.

This event was the first major event for the Year 7 team, James, Jack and Coby. They have learnt how to effectively orienteer in a short period of time, which is why the fact they came home with a bronze medal is particularly impressive.

Both teams showed incredible resilience and determination to bring home the first team medals CHS has ever won at this national competition. Coi
