CHSuccess for Young Enterprise Team Grip Soles

CHS’s Young Enterprise Team have a spring in their step after coming 1st place in Best Logo Competition!

Grip Soles is the business and brand created by CHS’s newest Young Enterprise Team comprising of Waconians Adam, Amelie, Ben S, Jack, Fred, Oscar, Ben M, Erin, Naisha, Brad, Arthur and Joe.

The innovative team were recently awarded First Place the Young Enterprise UK ‘Best Logo’ competition in which they had to create a business logo and submit it for assessment and analysis.

Ben and Freddie, Grip Sole’s Social Media Managers, commented on their win, “We weren’t surprised in winning this prize, despite the disbelief from our supervisor, the whole team knew we had something really special. It felt amazing to win as we put in so much hard work and effort.”

The group has created insoles for shoes which provide extra grip, designed to help their target customers to improve their fitness game by giving more speed, power and control.

Founder Adam states “Grip Sole’s mission is to utilise ultimate grip to provide optimum sporting performance. This new level of grip improves your agility, speed and safety, providing you with a stress-free, no-hassle experience.”

The team describe themselves as 13 Lower Sixth Students who want to further their business knowledge whilst being positive role models for the School and producing a product that not only enhances performance, but encourages participation.

The entrepreneurs are now preparing for the soft launch of their product and the Young Enterprise Conference in March, where they hope to make to the next round.

If you have experience in manufacturing insoles or working in performance sportswear, the team would love to hear from you on Instagram via @gripsoles, or alternatively, give them a follow and support their journey.
