Eggstra Altruism for Easter

In an act of Easter altruism,  660 Easter Eggs were collected by CHS’s Junior School and Senior School families, which made their way to local primary schools, East Cheshire Hospice, Viaduct Care Stockport, The Wellspring, Beechwood Cancer Care and Manchester Children’s Hospital.

Tim Merchant, Viaduct Health Care GP and Old Waconian said: “Thank you so much for this incredibly generous donation – we really appreciate being thought of. Our community Covid team were like kids at Christmas seeing all those eggs!”

Also run as a House competition in the Senior School, Allen House were declared the winners after collcting the most eggs between the Houses.

Thank you to everyone who donated – and special thanks to CHS Parents’ Asssociation for organising additional donations and delivery of fresh food for the primary schools.
