First CHS Rainmakers talk given by Old Waconian

Simon Forrest, Class of 1992, came in to speak to the Lower Sixth Business students on finance.

He offered advice and told how he got into his career of finance after graduating from CHS. Simon told the students the lessons he has learnt from his career and how he overcame obstacles.

This was the first of CHS’s new Rainmakers sessions where various speakers will speak to the students on a specialist topic giving guidance and tips to help them set up their own business as part of the new scheme.

CHS Rainmakers is a new year-long initiative that will see Sixth Form students, who select the Enterprise and Finance Pathway, work in teams to set up and run a business.

The competing teams will present their businesses to two Old Waconian or parent judges in order to win a prize.

Good luck to all our students taking part!
