CHS rugby player Tom has made his way to the next level of Sale Sharks’ Academy after playing his way to selection for their U18s squad – two teams his senior.
Called up after putting in a strong performance throughout the Sharks’ U16 Player Development Group (SDG) pathway programme, the 15-year-old fly half has been retained to join the Sharks’ U18 Academy next season.
Tom, who started playing rugby at CHS in year 7 and was only invited to join the Academy last year, has been a regular in CHS’s first team, playing a couple of years above his age group for the School.
