Juniors use their Maths Skills on a Day Full of Fun and Lego

The Junior School had a busy morning of mathematical problem solving. There were pirates, escape rooms, number crunching, logic puzzles and word problems flowed from every classroom in the school.

This was followed by an afternoon of Lego building where pupils were placed in a ‘family’ of with other pupils from different year groups from their house. In small groups, along with a teacher, pupils had to create a sculpture of Lego based on the topic of ‘Protecting our World.’

The day was filled with problem solving, environmental awareness, cooperation, collaborative working and most of all fun!
