Congratulations to our U10 netballers who picked up silver medals as the finalists in this week’s AJIS competition!

Team CHS tied with Birkenhead School at the end of full time. After going into extra time CHS narrowly missed out on taking the title by a single goal.

The final rounded off an energetic day of netball; in the morning, the team won their group beating Manchester High School for Girls, Merchant Taylor’s and Kings’ Macclesfield, scoring an impressive 44 goals and conceding just 4.

They then beat Kings’ School in the quarter final putting them through to the semi-final against Bolton School. A closely fought match, going into extra time, it resulted in an extremely close 2 goal win for CHS.

CHS Team Coach, Mrs Fisher said: “Massive congratulations to the girls for their gutsy performance!”

The netball success continues in the Senior School, with Team CHS’s U15 netball team becoming champions of the ISNC National Final!

Playing Millfield School in a competitive match, their passes were on point with plenty of shots scored to secure the win with an impressive 45 goals.

A special mention to Rhianna who was voted as coaches ‘most valuable player’.
