Daisy Lees (middle), Maisie Chrimes (right), Olivia Leslie (left), Zara Gross, Martha Thompson, Hannah Bagshaw have been selected to train and play with the Academy.
This is an excellent achievement. Manchester Thunder are part of the Netball Superleague which consists of the top 10 netball teams across England, Scotland, and Wales.
The girls underwent 2 days of intense trails against over 250 of the top netball players in the North West.
The girls were all elated to hear the news. Daisy Lees said: “I was so shocked when I found out but I’m really excited. I can’t wait to get started.”
Grace Mills and Hannah Hill have also been selected to play for Thunder Academy’s older teams.
