Well done to our U11 Girls Football team. They won all 4 matches they played in the AJIS Schools 7-a-side Tournament held at St Bedes College.
After playing the first round of the group matches the team went on to play the winners of the other group, Newcastle Under Lyme, and won 1-0 after a hard match.
The girls did not concede a single goal throughout the tournament. Showing immense determination the girls played in great spirits, with passion and control and walked away with the winner’s shield.
Mrs Walker said: “The girls had excellent control and skill. They showed themselves to be a well-formed team, with great tactical knowledge and play. I was very proud of the way they performed and represented themselves and the school.”
