The Arts

From sculpture and singing to poetry to photography, our students enjoy a rich and diverse Arts Education.

In addition to studying Arts subjects within the curriculum, our pupils are encouraged to hone their artistic skills in a wide range of co-curricular activities designed to help them better understand themselves and the world around them.

Whether they’re singing their hearts out in our School choir or getting involved in one of many musical and theatre performances, our pupils enjoy many fantastic opportunities to create, perform and enjoy the Arts. And it’s not just about being centre stage; those who don’t enjoy the limelight are encouraged to get involved behind the scenes and use their technical and artistic skills to bring our dramatic and musical creations to life.

We are also the only school to exhibit at the Manchester Art Fair and our pupils regularly perform concerts at the Royal Northern College of Music, giving them a unique opportunity to share their artistic talent with the world.

At Sixth Form, The Arts Pathway provides opportunities for students seeking a creative challenge and who are seeking practical experience in the creative industries.
